Banner misalignment

    When I am logged into wordpress.com and viewing my website my banner is resting directly on the menu bar and therefore the RSS, FB and Twitter buttons appear to be resting on my chest – which is how I want it to be.

    When I view the live site (not signed in) there is a gap between where the banner ends and where the menu bar begins. It makes it look like my image has been cut off.

    How can this be corrected?
