  i need to change the color of my banner heading on my home page (using port theme). the banner and subheading are white and my background banner image has a white background…help

  Hello there,

  In order to adjust the color of your site title and tagline, click Appearance → Customize in your site’s Dashboard. Then, click CSS in your right-hand menu. In the CSS Revisions box, please paste the following underneath all existing text:

  #home-banner #banner-text .main h2 {
  color: #232323;
  }

  #home-banner #banner-text .secondary {
  color: #232323;
  }

  Then Save your changes.

  You may also choose to make some font adjustments in Appearance → Customize → Fonts if you feel your site title has too thin of a font weight.

  Finally, I arbitrarily chose the font color (#232323) in order to make your text visible. You may choose other font colors here: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_colorpicker.asp
