  Well if it’s something like an advertisement such as AdSense then you can’t. But if you want to post a normal HTML banner, here’s how.

  1. Open the widgets page and drag the text box into the widgets-on-the-blog thingy.
  2. Paste your code down.
  3. Save and visit your site to see if your banner works.
  Some banners don’t work, though.
