Banners – allowed?
-
This is perhaps a common question, but I didn´t find any search function. I´m very tired right know, it´s 5:30am where I am now, but I need to find out :-P
Are banners and scripts allowed and possible to uppload on WordPress.com? I´m thinking about the following:
http://www.europarl.europa.eu/elections_2009_package/default.htm
This is just a picture. I would like to have it linked to another page.http://www.spreadfirefox.com/affiliates/homepage
Firefox-buttons which links to the Firefox download page and also counts number of clicks for your account on getfirefox.comhttp://www.inetcore.com/project/ipv4ec/index_en.html
A script which… check the link, explained there. All three would I want to have in the sidebar.

And what exactly is considered an ad? Commercial stuff? All pictured links to other web pages? Or even a simple picture with a message?

You didn’t find a search function???? Go back to the main forum page:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/
Look up to the three yellow stickies (reading them is a good idea) then right above is a big forum search box.
Above it are links to the FAQ and Support docs. They are searchable. At the bottom of the page is a link to the ToS.
The forum tag cloud in the sidebar works too.

Well, said I was tired. There was no in the direktory, only on the main forum page. Found it later, did a small search and didn´t really find an answer. Have already read the support docs, did take a look at the FAQ right know. Found answer to most of my qustions. Now I just wonder how to make an image clickable via code.

@attsebortomramarna: Please paste the exact URL of your blog when asking questions here – or link your nickname to your blog as explained in the Sticky 8 Things to Know.
By “clickable via code” you mean link to another webpage? If so, the code is this:
<a href="URL_OF_WEBPAGE_HERE" target="_blank"><img src="URL_OF_IMAGE_HERE"></a>
