Basic help.

    Hello Staff,
    Hi. I am Ralph from http://bluefishway.com/ and I have been blogging for 6 months and am an avid fan of WP and my tapestry theme.
    I would like to make a suggestion. I am being asked all the time about the dashboard, sidebar, images in comments etc. How do I do this?. It would be so easy for you to set up an uncomplicated help for basic bloggers, I mean basic, who need to be told step by step to click this, go there, check that.
    Why don’t you have a page of a basic WP theme with sidebar, like and comment with all the widgets, so a blogger can click anywhere and they are told step by step and I mean step by step how to do it.
    The same with a new post, media and so on, everything!!
    Your customers are generally not geeks, not computer aware and are frightened by complication. All they want to do is make their blogs pretty, spend less time fumbling in the dashboard and post their recipes etc in the best presentation.
    I hope this makes sense to you as I feel your support help will be enhanced by this suggestion.

    Hi TT. Wow. What an avatar!! I didn’t know this aide existed. I just had a quick skim through. The new image format needs inserting, but I still think that even this aide is too heavy for a some bloggers. I know of some who will not go into their dashboard other than a basic post as they may damage something or worse. You have probably met them. I received this email yesterday which prompted me to write to you.
    “I wish I was as clever as all you people who did nifty things with your in-boxes, etc etc….Keep writing Ralph, when you feel like it… we’ll all be here agog for your next blog! love Veronica “
    I feel it’s not a matter of being nifty, but following directions step by step so that anyone could do it. I may have to do a page on it myself.
