Basic instructions for new website theme

  I am trying to set up a website and after reading some of instructional support, I purchased Zuki. After fiddling with it for a few hours, I feel like I am totally out of my depth. I must be a rank amateur. Is there some support for me? I begged support at the them forum but no answer. Is there a simpler theme that has some of the same features as Zuki — clean lines, pictures and content, more a website than a blog? I have successfully set up blogs on wordpress.

  I’ve just skimmed through the Magazine style themes. The Columnist, Expound, and perhaps Imbalance 2 display recent posts similarly, but don’t have the post slider feature. Delicious Magazine (premium, $75) might be suitable.

  Thanks for suggestions; however, I am trying to set up a website and not a magazine. I liked the look of Zuki but cannot set my site up to look like the page in the promotional material. I’ve read accompanying directions and watched the video. They are of no help to me. Please help.

  If you have purchased the Zuki theme for a WordPress.COM hosted blog then like every other premium theme there is a premium theme support site for it https://wordpress.com/themes/zuki/support/ and the link is found on the support doc for that theme in the orange colored box on the right hand side of the page.

  I have left a message on http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/zuki two days ago and received no answer. I have been though the written material and video on https://wordpress.com/themes/zuki/support/ and it has not helped me. I need extra help as I’ve previously described or a suggestion of a simple website theme.

  I don’t know if those I suggested might be simpler, but they do have some of the same features as Zuki, and like Zuki are listed among the Magazine style WP themes.

  Zuki is listed among the magazine style themes. The ones I suggested have some similar features.
