  Before I invest time and effort into WordPress, I’d like to know if it will do what I want. I want to have a simple site with half a dozen headings and under each have links to documents the reader can access and links the reader can follow. Thanks!

  Hey rdjleacock,

  You can accomplish this by creating the categories and assign those to the content you want to add.

  Organize Posts with Categories

  Once you do that, you can add those categories to the menu. Creating the drop-down menu will solve the problem.
