Basically, how do people post on my WP.com blog?
-
Hello, this should be obvious — maybe there’s some documentation somewhere that I haven’t found.
But after creating a site and adding all the widgets I think I need, I see no way for viewers to post to the site. Is that supposed to be available?
I tried creating a new user, but that doesn’t get me to back my site to post an article, it just gets me to http://wordpress.com.
Sorry if I’m missing something obvious.
By the way, is there documentation? Or just FAQ files?
Thanks — Howard Ballinger

If you want other people to be able to post, you have to invite them as contributors. They’ll need to register their own account (with or without blog) at wordpress.com too.
Invite them under Users (on the far right of the dashboard) by putting in their email address.
You can’t set your blog up for just anyone to post, as far as I know.

by linking your name to your blog it will serve two purposes…
(1) When you leave a comment on some one Else’s blog there readers will be able to find & read your blog…
(2) If you need to ask a support question in the forum then it will make it easier for the volunteers to see what blogging platform your using & will aide them in giving you a more accurate answer to your issue… How to link your name to your blog

If you want ANYONE to be able to post without signing in, what you want is a wiki, not a blog.
