Baskerville 2 – Home Page
-
Hey experts,
I am using Baskerville 2 theme for my blog. I am quite happy with it. I have problems.
1. I can’t add home to the menu. I had to create a custom link to my blog as a ‘Home’ button in the menu.
2. When I paste Yandex verification code, only some part appears in the bar and it also appears on top of the header on my blog’s homepage. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
1. I can’t add home to the menu. I had to create a custom link to my blog as a ‘Home’ button in the menu.
You don’t have a static page set as your site’s front page, but it displays your most recent posts, so you won’t be able to add a page called “Home” to the menu, as no such page exists. Having the Home item in your menu be a custom link is the correct way to do it, and is how the WordPress software works. It has nothing to do with your theme.
2. When I paste Yandex verification code, only some part appears in the bar and it also appears on top of the header on my blog’s homepage.
This also has nothing to do with your theme.
Your site uses the open source WordPress software found on WordPress.org, not WordPress.com, which is something completely different.
Please post in the WordPress.org forums for help with the version of WordPress you are using:
https://wordpress.org/support/
While your site’s theme is created by us, we do not provide support for custom code like the Yandex code you added to your site’s header, as that is not something that we have any control over, and we don’t have access to your site’s dashboard or files to help you fix this.
