Baskerville 2: set all URL active and hover colors throughout site

  • Unknown's avatar

    I’d like to set all URLs throughout my site to display as #40d7bc when active and #eeeeee on hover, instead of changing this with multiple CSS snippets.

    Is this possible in Baskervilles2?

    Many thanks

    I used CSS to change the URL display and hover colours as Baskerville2 doesn’t accommodate this in its Settings panel.

    However, when clicking the URL, it changes to the default Baskerville blue colour and remains that colour once visited (this also happens with Headings).

    I’ve tried using the a:active, a:visited CSS, but this also changes my social menu colour, which usually displays as #e1e4f0 and #79e3d0 on hover.
    To fix this, I have to include ‘!important’ for the display #e1e4f0 colour, which I don’t like doing.

    Any ideas? Thanks :)

    CSS so far:
    body a:link {
    color: #40d7bc;
    }

    body a:hover {
    color: #eeeeee;
    }
