Baskerville 2 – Social Icons Not Appearing
-
I am trying to add social icons to my site that is using the Baskerville 2 theme.
On the theme download page, it says to create a menu using custom links with the URL’s to your social media pages. Then to check off the “Header” option in the display location spot.
When I do that, it adds my social icon menu to the nav bar area.
What am I doing wrong, and how can I resolve this? Any help is appreciated!

Hi there,
On a self-hosted WordPress site you need the Jetpack plugin installed and connected to a WordPress.com account to use the social links menu, as that menu is a feature of Jetpack that is supported in this theme, rather than a feature of the theme itself.
For future reference, you can find the forums for the self-hosted version of this theme at https://wordpress.org/support/theme/baskerville/

Thank you. I installed Jetpack and connected it, and I now have access to the social menu. I’ll do some tinkering with the CSS and add that in.
Thanks a lot!
