Baskerville 2 Social Menu

    Hello. I have a social menu on Baskerville 2 but it’s dead center in my logo area. Is there a CSS option to move this down to the bottom of the logo area, or at least to the bottom right? Thank you! Lesli

  • Hey there,

    Happy to help you with this.

    The CSS you require is:

    /* Float social menu right AL fr */

     .jetpack-social-navigation ul {
        display: block;
        margin: 0 0 1em;
        padding: 0;
        float: right;
    }

    .jetpack-social-navigation {
        margin-top: 140px;
    }

    This will move the menu to the bottom right, and this can be added via Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.

    Additionally, it looks like you’re getting started with your site – what are your long term plans for the site? Perhaps I can offer more help and guidance on how to achieve any goals you may have. :)

    Thank you so much, Adam! That was perfect and exactly what I needed.

    I’m not doing much more with my website than I already am. Just book reviews and links with where to purchase my own books. I lost my old website that I had hosted on DreamHost, so I’ve decided to keep everything on WordPress in order to have the support I need when something like that happens.

    As far as what I have now, I’m pretty happy with the website. I guess minor complaints would be that I used to have my posts/pages on a black background with white writing. Since I write dark fantasy, it kinda fits my vibe a bit better, but I found no themes I liked that had black backgrounds with the same simple setup I have now. I also don’t like how narrow the posts/pages are on the website. I wish the margins were smaller. I thought this theme had a full page option, but if it does, I can’t find it. Seems like a lot of wasted space. Other than that, I’m pleased with it. If you have any ideas on how to fix those items, I would love to hear them.

    Again, thank you so much! It looks way better now.
