Baskerville 2 Theme

  I would like to use the baskerville 2 theme, however I cannot add widgets text boxs etc into the theme as boxes on the page.
  If I select add widget the only option available is to add them at the bottom as a footer leaving the home page very blank

  Can anyone advise please?

  Hi,

  The reason why the sidebar widget area doesn’t display when the front page is set to display the latest posts is that posts are displayed across the full width of the page with the Baskerville 2 theme activated. You may display widgets in the sidebar widget area on the front page (on Baskerville 2) only if it is set to display a static page, and the static front page is assigned either the default or contributors template.
