Baskerville 2 Theme [Audio/Video] Block does not load media on home page

    My published post utilizing the Audio or Video block does not display the uploaded media on my Bakersville 2 homepage. The text from the post is displayed, but not the audio player, nor the video that has been uploaded. Post title: It’s Time to Take Care of You.

    Any assisance will be greatly appreciated.

    Hello! I believe this is a limitation of how excerpts work. Excerpts strip all formatting from the content – this means not displaying things like images, audios or videos too.

    As a workaround, you could access Content Options from Appearance → Customize in your dashboard, then select the Full post option under Blog Display (remember to save your changes).

    This way, the full post content (including audio and video) should appear on the home page, however keep in mind that it could result in longer columns for posts with lots of content. For such cases, you could add the Read More tag right after the video or audio, so that only content before the tag gets displayed on the homepage.
