Baskerville 2 Theme Loading Posts in only Two Columns
-
Hello all,
I recently started exploring the Post Formats on my blog with Baskerville 2 Theme. I added a new Gallery format post, and after publishing I can see that the rest of the posts on the home page have a huge gap between them leaving ample white space from second row onwards. Usually, the posts are stacked as cards in a 3x 3 grid on the front page. In the following screenshot, the first post is sticky, the second post is gallery format, and the rest of the posts are standard format.
There’s also two or 3 pages of blank space between the last post and the footer.
Can someone help me with how to fix these issues?

Hi there!
I visited your site and noticed the issue, but it was in the third column. I also saw the whitespace you mentioned. However, when I resized the browser window to make it narrower and then resized it back to the original size, the issue disappeared. Could you also try this and check if the problem persists after briefly resizing your browser window?
The theme dynamically adjusts the spacing based on the posts, so something unexpected might be happening here. I’ve already asked our developers to take a look. I’ll let you know what they find.
Thanks for reporting this!

Thank you for responding!
I’ve noticed if I refresh or change browser it gets fixed, but it comes and goes. The big space is below the gallery post format. Ever since I added a new gallery format post, I am seeing this issue. I’ve not seen it happen under the quote or standard posts. I will try a couple of other formats just to be sure. Could you folks please check why gallery post is behaving this way?
Thanks in advance!

Hello. Sorry for the silence. We’re still looking into this, I’m afraid. Sometimes issues like this, which seem simple on the surface, can require more investigation, but I’ve shared a reminder with the team, so thanks for the ping.
