Baskerville 2: W3C Validation Error & warnings
-
Hi,
I’m not sure whether this ticket should be in Theme support?
Just running my site through the W3C validator and it’s thrown up this error:
“.posts .format-status .post-content p Value Error : text-shadow Too many values or values are not recognized : rgb(0 0 0 / 0.3)”I also have 274 warnings, mostly to do with this and in other URLs:
“::-webkit-input-placeholder is an unknown vendor extended pseudo-element
0 :-moz-placeholder is an unknown vendor extended pseudo-class
0 ::-moz-placeholder is an unknown vendor extended pseudo-element
0 :-ms-input-placeholder is an unknown vendor extended pseudo-class
3 Invalid separator in shape definition. It must be a comma.
847 -apple-system,BlinkMacSystemFont,’Segoe UI’,Roboto,Oxygen-Sans,Ubuntu,Cantarell,’Helvetica Neue’,sans-serif is an unknown vendor extension”How can I fix the error and warnings?

Hi there,
I submitted a bug report for the error:
Value Error : text-shadow Too many values or values are not recognized : rgb(0 0 0 / 0.3).But, I spoke with our theme team internally and none of this is anything to worry about. Very similar situation to the last report you posted about here. But, thanks for reporting this – we will get that minor bug fixed up – it’s most likely not affecting your site in any way, however.
Thanks!

Hi @darnelidibbles thanks for letting me know. This error report is for Baskerville, the error report I posted last year was for the Visual theme.
Thanks for addressing this bug though.

No problem, staff-doublebassd has reported this for the Baskerville 2 theme you are currently using :)
