Baskerville 2: wide right-side spacing in Preview/Dashboard

    Hi,

    I’m writing my first post in Baskerville 2 and notice that the content in the WP dashboard and the Preview are way out in spacing. This is annoying as I really can’t see what the final post will display as until published.

    It seems that the right-side of the content area has huge spacing both inside the WP dashboard and when in Preview, and doesn’t use up the container efficiently.

    I didn’t have this problem with my previous Visual theme, which I used for over 3 years, so I’m thinking that it’s a Baskerville 2 issue?

    Would you be able to make a screenshot of the spacing issue you are seeing? Please upload to your Media Library and I’ll be happy to take a look :)

    Thanks for the screen shot. That white space on the right hand side of the page is actually widget space. So, your site is displaying as it should.

    Hi staff-zinnia,

    Thanks for letting me know but the white space is in my WP dashboard whilst writing a post. What’s the point of displaying an empty white space in the dashboard?

    Other themes don’t display the dashboard like this and use the full width when writing a post. The sidebar widget is handled in Appearance>Widgets as you know, then displays in Preview or in the published post.

    The links you provided above is for the theme and how to set up a sidebar, which I’ve already done and does not provide information or set-up to remove the empty white space in in the dashboard.

    Update: just found out that the dashboard’s white space is due to the new WP Editor, which is still being developed and not Baskerville 2. I’m closing this ticket and thanks for your help.
