Baskerville: HTML anchors on startpage not working

  With Baskerville theme, each post has a unique division ID on the startpage, like this:

  <div id="post-29" .....

  However, it looks like I can’t use this ID as an anchor in a link to jump directly to that post/position on the startpage, as in:

  < a href="example.wordpress.com#post-29" .....

  The browser (Firefox, Chrome, IE) ignores the anchor and always jumps to the same position.

  Anchoring works within pages and posts, but apparently not on the startpage.

  Is this by design, or what’s wrong?

  (I can’t link to a specific blog, but I guess it’s a generic Baskerville or WordPress issue.)
