Baskerville – Logo-trouble and Tagline colour
-
I try to find out how to change the colour of my tag-line but it seems I can only change the site title?
About the Logo function – as you can see on my website the Logo messes it all up haha(:
When I remove it i destroys the header image, crops it automatically into a thin horizontal image…
So, either way it looks terrible.-Is there a way for me to decide Logo-size, Logo-position and also exclude it on certain pages/posts?
Thank you for helping

You can modify the tagline, change the logo position, and exclude the logo on certain pages with custom CSS, which comes with the Premium or Business plans. It’s not possible to change the logo size.
For example, this CSS would change your tagline colour; you can modify the colour code to anything you like.
.site-description { color: #bb00bb; }Right now you’re using Custom Design in trial mode, so you can preview certain changes in the Customizer, but not save them. You can either click the link in the Customizer to exit the preview, or purchase the upgrade if you’d like to be able to save your changes.
If you purchase the upgrade and need help with the CSS, let me know more specifically what you’d like to do (i.e. Where would you like to exclude the logo? How would you like the logo positioned?) and I can help you here, or you can post in the CSS Customization forum for assistance:

I wasn’t able to replicate this problem on my test site with Baskerville – I was able to add both a logo and custom header and it looked as expected. Would it be possible to upload a screenshot of this to help in troubleshooting?
Here’s a guide on how to make a screenshot:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/You can upload the screenshot – in a graphic format like JPG, PNG, or PDF – in your Media Library so I can see it. Thanks.

Thank you so much Kathryn – I will upgrade, didnt know this..
I waited a couple of hours for an answer then I just had to do something with the header – thats why you didnt see the issue I had.
I guess its how the theme is – the logo sits on top/in the middle of the header image and of course this will ruin the header image.I chose to use just a colour-header as image for now until I upgrade.
I have to learn CSS…
And here we have a follow-up question:Is it possible to have an animated header-image?
Sa I use the image which is there right now – I want it to slowly fade into another colourIs this also possible with CSS?

In themes that support both a site logo and custom header, the logo is often overlaid on top of the header, giving you the flexibility to overlay a logo on a photograph or abstract graphic, for example. Of course it’s up to you which images you choose to use; it’s certainly not intended to “ruin” the header but if you choose two images that don’t work well together the effect might not be pleasing!

You might be able to put together something using CSS animation:

For that kind of help I’d recommend you post in the CSS customization forum.
