Baskerville – need to decrease white space above text

Hi. New user of WordPress, trying to figure out how to use CSS to move the first line of text up (there’s too much white space above it) on each page of my website. I know what to write (a rep wrote it out for me in chat) and how to access CSS, but I don’t know where to put it. I used the Baskerville theme.

Can someone help? The way it’s currently displaying requires the viewer to scroll down a bit in order to start reading or see the photo on my home page.

    Thanks!

You would add that code to your custom CSS at Customize > CSS.

Are you talking about the title on the pages, such as “about” on your main page?

Thank you, yes I was referring to those titles. My friend (software engineer) took care of it for me. I got as far as “inspect element” but do not know CSS so I did not know what to target or write. Motivated to learn now!

I’m all set now, but appreciate the reply.
