Baskerville theme: don't see the sidebar

  • Unknown's avatar

Hello, I have Baskerville theme for my blog. In the live demo there are three columns (two for posts and one for sidebar). I don’t know why there is no sidebar in my blog. When I open my post, I can see sidebar with all widgets, but in the mane page there is no sidebar, just free space… Is there a way to put this sidebar?
    My blog: is https://suvaikais.wordpress.com/ .

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,

I see that https://suvaikais.wordpress.com/ is presently using the Oxygen theme. Did you still want help regarding the sidebar widgets issue with respect to the Baskerville theme?

The Widgets section of the Baskerville theme guide says:

Baskerville has three widget areas in the footer; it also has one widget area in the sidebar, which appears on pages and single posts.

The theme includes a custom widget that allows you to showcase your Dribbble shots. All widgets can be added via Customize→ Widgets.

Since the sidebar widget area appears only on (static) pages and single posts, with the Baskerville theme activated, it will not appear on the posts or blog page.

Hi, I couldn’t do anything with that theme :( Tried to use contributors template, but sidebar did not appear.. so now blog is on oxygen.
I have testing page where I can experiment with themes, so Your advice is on time. I’ll try one more time to cooperate with baskerville.
    Thank You very much!

    Your welcome!
But like I said above the sidebar will not show on the posts (blog) page with the Baskerville theme activated.
