Batch edit categories

I run a gossip and news blog. As such, I have A LOT of categories for tagging. It is going to take me an hour (easily) to re-assign categories. I would LOVE to see a batch edit. I know it’s already out there as an (unofficial I think) add-on for the .org blogs. but that doesn’t help the .com bloggers like me.
Please… I beg you… It’s too late to save me now, but for the sake of the children… Oh wait… went into melodrama *blush* ;-)

Having recatelouged over 700 entries myself because batch mode was not available, I have some sympathy for your situation. However, that is neither here nor there. If you want this or any other new feature to be considered for addition then you must do what staff has specified. Please contact staff directly during support hours on the weekdays, make your request and include your reasons for it. When doing so note that you will be joining the rest of us who have made the same request. Also note that the forum search box is always the first ploace to look prior to posting a new forum entry. :)

I did use search but didn’t see anything quite in line with what I wanted. But maybe I didn’t look long enough (I’m a lil ADHD sometimes).

No problem. The long and short of this is do not hold your breath. Many of us have been waiting for months and there has been no indication whatsoever that anything is on the horizon in this regard.
