batch-editing visibility on imported blogs

Hi, I recently imported my LJ, which contained both private and public posts

however, as I will be using my WP in a professional capacity, I was wondering
how to make ALL of my imported LJ posts PRIVATE, without going through years of posts and manually updating individual privacy settings… like a batch-edit function?

[or if i could switch just those public LJ posts to WP ‘password-protected’ posts so my friends could still follow the unprofessional journal… but i would settle for anything]

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Sadly, you get to go through years of LJ posts and set them private one by one. Afraid our batch-processing here is quite limited.

    Compromise,

I can go through each PAGE of posts, select all, and bulk-edit ‘status’ to private

so i guess 22 pages of posts isn’t TOO bad, i won’t ever have to do it again
    here we go

and actually, in dashboard > posts (list view), you can control with ‘screen options’ how man posts are viewed per page… changing default 20 to 150 allowed me to set all previous posts as private quickly

Ah, that’s a very clever workaround. Thanks for reporting it.
