  Hi,

  Is there anyway that we can import an external list of email address to our blog’s email subscription list?

  As far as I know, we can not import a mailing list to wp.com blogs:

  I’m not sure but my friend had her blog for years and she was able to do that but thats her i can ask her how to do it if u want me too

  Please keep in mind that there are two separate and distinct kinds of WordPress. You are using wp.COM and it is most likely your friend is using wp.ORG
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If your friend has a way to import and use a mailing list on wp.COM, I would also be interested to know how it works.

  Hi Tess,
  I guess she’s talking about a WordPress.ORG install because as you and I know there is currently no means of importing an email mailing list into a free hosted WordPress.COM blog.

  Indeed.
  I’m always open for a miracle new wondrous work-a-round, but spammers and useless advice, well, not so much.
