batch justifying
-
I’d like to mass edit all my posts to be full justified. Is this possible?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Possibly but if so then it will require an annually renewable upgrade.
We wordpress.com bloggers do not have access to the template files underlying our themes on wordpress.COM hosted blogs and cannot edit them. This is a multiuser blogging platform. All blogs wearing the same theme use the same underlying template found on the live demo site for each theme.
Does Customize let me edit HTML?
No. Customize allows you to edit fonts, colors, and CSS only. You can change the appearance of a theme, but not its HTML markup or PHP code. If you require this functionality, please consider moving your blog to a web host that supports theme code modifications. You can read more about why here http://support.wordpress.com/code/, and find a suitable host here http://get.wp.com/hosting/.

Note 2: You can also post there prior to purchasing an upgrade to get an answer to whether or not what you want to do can be accomplished via CSS editing.

P.S. Have you tired to use the option can be found in the second row of the Visual editor icons: http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#row-2

Thanks. I guess what I need is a way to modify the default styles so I don’t have to manually set things like justify with every new post. It’s not worth going back and doing for every individual post, and it’s not worth paying for either. I’ll see if I can get someone to write a script to do it. Thanks!

I’ll see if I can get someone to write a script to do it.
That is a no go here at wordpress.COM.
We have code restrictions at wordpress.COM. There is no metasata access and we cannot enter code into the “header”. No javscript widgets or iframes can be used on any wordpress.COM hosted sites.

No blogger initiated JavaScript will be active on any site hosted by wordpress.COM. https://en.support.wordpress.com/code/#javascript

Good, then you will not experience the software stripping any Javascript that you enter out.
-
Most scripting is not javascript. I have no idea why that is being focused on.
Also, the checkbox for email notification of replies is being ignored.

Hi there,
You might be able to use our public API to do something like this, but I’m really not sure as I’m not a coder myself (yet) and have never dug into what is possible with our API. You can find our documentation here if you want to give that a shot:
Aside from that, there isn’t a default setting you can set on WordPress.com for text-alignment. You can use custom CSS to force it across your site, but that’s the only way to do it globally.
the checkbox for email notification of replies is being ignored
Exactly which checkbox are you referring to, and what is the URL of the page where it appears? Can you also tell me what you’re expecting to happen and what actually happens?
