Batch rename images?

  Hi.
  After uploading pictures to a gallery I have to name every picture one by one.

  Problem: if its an exhibition, all pictures get the same name anyways. So is there a batch-rename option?

  Let me add a second question (before starting a new thread):

  in a gallery you have the option to “Add a caption…” below every picture.

  Why is it not possible to copy one caption, and paste it easy to other pics in the gallery. Its neither possible via mouse, nor via strg-c + strg-v
