Be an Administrator and an Author with the same e-mail address

I would like to use the same e-mail address for being the Administrator and at the same time an Author. But that isn’t possible, I always get the info that I am already a member.
I don’t want to use a second e-mail address, but would like to divide into the writing and the publishing part. Could you please make that possible? I don’t understand, why it shouldn’t be possible.
    Thanks for considering!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If I get you clearly you are asking if you can open another full WordPress site apart from your primary one. But still using the same account and e-mail address your primary site/blog is using?

When you are logged in you should see on the top left of your screen a button that says “switch site” it will direct you to a page that gives you an option to create a brand new WordPress site/blog with it’s own domain name that you can set for yourself(it’s not just a page it’s a new site that doesn’t navigate to your primary site in any way).
Hope this answer meets your need. Thanks

    Hi George
Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately I was not clear enough with what I would like to do.
I don’t want a second blog, I would like to have two roles at my blog with the same e-mail address: 1x admin and 1x author. The reason is that I share the blog with my friend and I would like to show more clearly who of us is posting. At the moment we both use the admin login that is connected to my e-mail to write. I would like to create now an Author, but don’t want to lose the admin rights.
I hope this was clearer. :-) Maybe I am even thinking too complicated and there is an easier way to handle this? I would be glad to hear from you.

Okay. The following process is what I know so far that resembles what you are asking for.
User roles determine the access level or permissions of a person authorized (invited by an Administrator) to use a WordPress.com site.
On the “My Sites” column go to “People” then “add” a person and assign to them a “Role”.
This is the list of the roles’ powers.

Administrator – nothing is off limits
Editor – has access to all posts, pages, comments, categories, tags, and links.
Author – can write, upload photos to, edit, and publish their own posts.

Contributor – has no publishing or uploading capability, but can write and edit their own posts until they are published

Follower (public sites) / Viewer (private sites only) – can read and comment on posts and pages
Each user role is capable of everything that a less powerful role is capable of. (In others words, Editors can do everything Authors can do, Authors can do everything Contributors can do, and so on.)

Go to this link https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/ to know in detail what the roles do.

The person you are inviting will have to have either their own e-mail address(if they don’t have a WordPress account) or WordPress users.
They will receive an e-mail giving them access for the designated role you have given.
Then they will have to sign up through the e-mailed link and have their own user name and unique password (no more need to share).
Hope this is clear and helpful.
