Beacon Theme – make titles on trending images permanent not rollover
-
I’ll start by saying I’ve only ancient web skills from about 10 years ago. Having decided on the Beacon theme as the layout suits our blog my partner suggested that it would be more attractive if the image titles in the trending section were always seen rather than on rollover (on a PC) or tapping on a mobile. I thought that CSS would be my way in but having looked at the code using Firefox’s Inspect Element I rapidly realised I have reached the limits of my knowledge. Is it possible to do this via CSS and if so can someone point me in the right direction?

The post titles in the trending section are styled to not show up. We can override their style as following to make them always seen:
.trending .blurbs li h3 { display: block; }I hope you have Custom Design upgrade to be able to use this CSS.
Give it a try and let me know if you need any other CSS.
