  HI,
  i buy 7 days ago beatriztorres.es domain for the blog beatrizto.wordpress.com and still is not registered and i can’t use it. What’s the matter?

  Hi Beatriz,

  Thanks for letting us know and I apologize for the troubles. I see where it’s been several days since you attempted to register, with .es domains the registration can often take 72 hours to complete, so I very much appreciate you waiting that time.

  But yes, it appears something did go wrong with the registration. I’ve reset the domain records on our end and added credits to your account — could you please attempt the registration again? Just click “Register a New Domain” here:

  https://wordpress.com/domains/

  When you get to checkout, just use the credits I’ve added to pay for the domain, since you’ve already paid us once. That way you won’t be double charged. :)

  Please let me know if you see any errors going through this second registration attempt. And if you do, please take a screenshot so I can best investigate the cause.

  I register the domain again at 12/21.

  Thank you very much for that screenshot!

  I actually got in touch with several other Happiness Engineers yesterday and we’ve had several other instances of problems registering .es domains over the last two weeks.

  We’re still tracking down the cause of the issue, but I have beatriztorres.es on the list of domains to sort out once we figure it out.

  Very sorry for the long wait on this, and I’ll keep you updated as I get new information.

  I do apologize for the inconvenience, but we’re no longer able to register .es domains and that was the cause of this error.

  One of my colleagues has already emailed you letting you know that we’ve refunded the domain purchase to your account.

  If you would still like to use that domain with your WordPress.com site, you can register it through a different registrar and then map the domain following the instructions here.

  If you need help going through that process, please let me know and I’m happy to explain anything.

  Again, I apologize for the wait and the error regarding the .es domain.
