Becoming a co-administrator

  The administrator of our site has invited me to become a co-administrator, using the appropriate WordPress method. The system has sent me an email telling me this and asking me to ‘accept’. However, when I hit the accept button, the system merely tells me that I am already a member and doesn’t change my role from contributor to administrator. Have others suffered this – and if so, what is the remedy?! Many thanks for any help you can offer.

  An administrator on the site can change your user role by following the directions here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#changing-user-roles
