Been removed from a blog and my content on it
-
Hi there,
basically, I worked on a blog and the owner added me as an administrator and said I can own the blog. A couple of months later, after I had put ALL my content on it, the owner decided to remove me, and is still refusing to remove my content from it. The blog URL is theslimeygang.wordpress.comThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You still own the copyright to your own work unless you assigned them to the blog formally – you can file a DMCA notice and have the content removed – the process is a bit formal,

I don’t want to really do anything serious, because we used to be good friends. Is there a way you can get one of your team members to remove the content or contact the website owner?
-
The content on the blog is only on that blog. When I put the content on the blog, I didn’t put it on any other blog.
-
No, staff will not intervene and force a blogger to take something down unless they are legally compelled to, like by a DMCA.
-
So my content is stuck on the blog? It’s just because all my old emails are on the website and the owner Is refusing to remove them.
-
No. Your content is stuck on the blog until you file a DMCA report with wordpress.com, as auxclass told you above. Your move.

That does not matter at all. He can recover the account by logging in and clicking “forgot my password.”
Besides, those links connect you with WordPress.com staff. They will remove the material for you IF and only IF you file a DMCA. He doesn’t need to log in at all.

I just told the owner that via Twitter, and he said he doesn’t remember his email password even if he reset his WP password.

There’s just one problem. How can I claim it’s “my copyright” because it is only on that blog and not on MY OWN blog.
-

You ask the staff above to remove content just based on your word in a forum – the staff need the legal framework of the DMCA to legally remove the content in question
Otherwise is to prevent @RC or myself asking to have all the content removed from YOUR blog because we claimed joint authorship and that YOU stole our content – if you blog was emptied just on that I suspect you would be back in the forum a bit upset –
