Beep beep boop?

Whether or not it’s easier is a matter of opinion. I absolutely hate the interface that comes with beep beep boop (grrrrrrrr!). Is there any way to stop being corralled into that all the time, and having to waste time trying to figure out how to get out of it?

Thanks for your advice, which is sound, but I am still being pushed that way against my will. If I’m actually logged in and viewing my site, and then hit “Edit”, straight away it’s “beep beep boop”.
When I’m editing in Classic there’s always a link offering to take me to the “improved posting experience”, which I find grossly over-simplified. Why is there not a link the other way. In other words, a link back to the classic interface from the simpleton’s world of “beep beep boop”. By the way, what’s the matter with the people who came up with that? Are they stuck in childhood?

If you are logged in, as you say is not the point.. If you go to your wp-admin > posts > add new it will take you to the old editor. If you simply ‘click edit’ it will take you to the new editor. I have always bookmarked the admin / dashboard and work mainly from it.
Alternatively you can bookmark the old editor for a ‘quick’ way out at brianluff.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php

This has been a long time continuing complaint… the “Beep Beep Boop” editor. It takes about 2-3 times longer to load a post, there are no links to other admin pages (on left side in Classic editor), and so on.
I ONLY use classic editor, classic admin, and if I DO use the new one, it’s because the “Edit” link is located at bottom of each post and it ONLY goes to the “Beep Beep Boop”. I just use it for quick editing (after waiting 5-10 seconds for it to load).
I also would like the “Improved Editing Experience” nag bar to be removed from the Classic edit page.
This may very well be a “Conspiracy Plot” to bring in the 8 year old and under crowd into WordPress.
PS: on one of these threads is a link to an extension that always pushes you into classic mode, no matter what you click. But I do not know the forum link for that.

@kauilapele Thanks for your reply. It’s nice to know I’m not alone:-)
I was travelling last week, and am just catching up at the moment. When I have a little time, I will search for the link you mention. I live in hope that one day we may enjoy a system for grown-ups again. I think you are probably right about the “catch ’em young” plot to target kindergartens.
