Beep Beep Boop

We aren’t children, you need to change that, I think that annoys people more than the actual editor.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The Classic Editor will continue to exist in wp-admin. We know some users prefer to use this editor, so we want you to have access to it, instead of phasing it out with the new version of the Dashboard. However, a link to the Classic Editor will not return to the New Editor. From: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/when-editing-an-old-post-how-do-i-switch-to-the-classic-editor?replies=5#post-2316097
To use the classic editor to create posts like I do go to Dashboard > Posts > Add New
Here is the model so you can see the format

In case you mean you think the words Beep Beep Boop ought to be changed to other words, I tagged this thread for Staff. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.

I am quite liking the new one, now that I have got used to it, but I am sick of those words, and they are quite infantile. I have done a post today on the new editor and it does seem to be something that many people don’t like.
Maybe something like Editor loading would be more appropriate, or just the circle thingy that shows it is loading. -
Okay then. Now I understand you and maybe Staff will consider changing the words. Best wishes with your blog.

It’s a major turnoff … a little like being addressed as “young lady” when I am clearly a senior. It’s also a real negative if WP insists on promoting its new editor. It undermines the whole lame attempt at being trendy and cool. It’s neither. No matter whether one is sixteen or sixty.

Thanks Jeremy,
Some reconsideration of this feature is really welcome. It is an extremely sore point with many WordPress users.

@leannewhatever
I use only the classic editor for both publishing and editing posts, so which words are used in the new editor as it loads does not matter to me. -
For newcomers … those who will be led into the new versions of editing and publishing … they will encounter the unpleasant BBB.
Those of us who know how to access the classic versions, obviously aren’t subjected to it. But for the others, it looks amateur and unprofessional. And I am concerned with the general impression of the whole site. Just closing my eyes and using the older versions to avoid the BBB doesn’t solve the problem at large.

I agree @nikkitytom. I’m also trying to give it a go and see if I make it work for me, but the Beep Beep Boop I hate, with a passion.
You are right for those new to WP won’t know there is an alternative and will think exactly that.

@leannewhatever
I’m not into making assumptions about the responses of newcomers to the new editor. The thread that has become nothing more that a pumped up promotion of a biased poll cured me of that. -
Hey timethief not sure what you mean. No one thinks you are, we are just stating that newcomers would know any better. I don’t actually know what you mean, what thread, what pumped up promotion? I haven’t been keeping an eye on what is happening in the forums.
