Begin site design

    I would like to begin my website design but it is asking to transfer our existing domain which I am not quite ready to do yet. Is there a way to begin the design without a domain at this time?

    Hi there, no problem. You’re welcome to create your new site with us before pointing the domain here. That way your current site can stay “live” until your new one is ready.

    I do recommend getting a plan earlier on if you’ll need it, since they have other features you might find useful, including direct support:
    https://wordpress.com/plans

    Then just avoid using the domain options until you’re ready, and then you can map or transfer the domain.
