Hello
- I think you’re looking for this: http://haverecordswillspin.wordpress.com/wp-admin
- Your sidebar will appear in your homepage only if it’s set to display a Static Page. Here’s how you can do that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
Hope this helps

Thanks!
Very helpful!I have another question:
I decided to keep the home as it is (no static page) but want to add the search in the about page.
Thing is that when I do that, the bar appears in the contact page as well and If I delete it there, it is deleted
from the about as well. How to fix this?
Thanks

Hello again,
Keep the sidebar widget as it is, go to https://wordpress.com/pages/, and choose your contact page. On the left menu, you should see the Page Attributes option. Click on that, and under Page Template, choose Full Width, No Sidebar.

Great. Works.
One last question:
Ive noticed the the heading and subheading are messed up in the about and contact pageI mean: it should be
Have records will spin
Time travel etcIt appears
Have records will spin time travel
EtcAny way to put it the way it appears in the home page?
Thanks again!

Hi,
This is a bit tricky. See if this works: go to https://wordpress.com/pages/, and choose your contact page. Go to Page Attributes. Click on that, and under Page Template, choose Right Content, No Sidebar.
-
Nope. Didnt work but I have a bonus question:
I wanna get rid of the categories footer widget and wanna put a “categories” scroll down menu next to about and contact.
Doable?
Thanks!

If you mean a Drop Down menu item, sure.
- I would start here: https://wordpress.com/menus/
- Click the ‘+’ button to add a new item. The order in which it appears in the menu is of course up to you
- Give the menu item a name – something like “Categories”
- Select the type “link” and in the URL field, add # then click “Add Item.”
- Click the ‘+’ button next to the “Categories” item you just created. Select the option Add menu item to children. Here, select the option Category and pick the category as well.
Repeat step 5 above for all your categories.
I hope this helps.

thanks. done.
A couple of other questions:
1) I would like to add a comment section in the “about” page
2) I would like to add the copyright sign as a footerDoable?
thanks very much. so helpful!
-
Sure.
- Go to https://wordpress.com/pages/, click through to your about page, and on the menu to the left, click More options. You should see a checkbox to Allow comments.
- You need a Business plan for this. If you are on one, go to https://wordpress.com/customize/ and under Site Identity you should see the option to edit the footer.
I’d suggest that you check out https://learn.wordpress.com. There are some great resources that will help you get started.
