Beginner Needs Upgrading Help!

  Hey guys.

  Here’s the deal. I LOVE the current theme that I’m currently using. The only gripe I have is that I can’t add another column to include archives, blogroll, etc. at the top.

  I understand that I have to make an upgrade so that I can edit the CSS … But what exactly does all that mean? Will that allow me to change the header text color/size and pretty much everything?

  I’ve bought a domain name and would love to see the site grow. I’m just limited in what I can do since I don’t know all this technical talk.

  You can do a lot with CSS. With your theme, you should be able to do what you want with the header. You may not be able to add another sidebar…may need to switch to another theme for that.

  CSS does not change the functionality of your blog, only the look. So you cannot add a sidebar to a theme that does not support it, because it would require access to files that we do not have here. Best bet for you would be to chose another theme and then customize that.
