  I just paid for premium account at Blue Host because everything I had read made it seem like WorkPress and Blue Host worked together. I actually wanted to use WP to build my site and BH to host it. I thought that was the way it worked. Now that I’ve already spent over 250, I’m finding out that I can’t simply use Word Press to build. Is my interpretation accurate?

  You’ve just created an account at the host WordPress.com. Bluehost is a completely different place. You’ll need to reach out to them for instructions on how to add the wordpress software to a site over there:
