  Hi!

  I need to make a new website for my gallery.
  Im looking at using the Astra plugin.

  Two questions:

  1. What WordPress plan will I need?
  Considering im likely to buy the Astra Pro im not sure which WordPress plan ill need.

  2.Domain name.
  Can I build it with the domain test.bowengalleries.nz and then when its ready move it to bowengalleries.nz?

  Hi Maeve,

  If you want to host the site with us on WordPress.com, you’ll need our Pro plan to use any plugins:

  https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  You can use that test domain if you want, or you can just use the free example.wordpress.com address we’ll create for you when you create your site, until you’re ready to connect your permanent domain.

  Either way, you’ll use our domain connection upgrade, included in the Pro plan, to connect both the testing and the permanent domains. There’s no limit on the number of domains you can connect in this way, and you can also create one and switch it out with a different one any time you want.

  You can go to https://wordpress.com/start/site/ to create a site in your account.
