  On WordPress.com, we have limitations on what code we allow. More details can be found at our Code support page.

  WordPress.org, the self-hosted software that you can use on almost hosting account, has much greater flexibility in this regard. You may want to check that out. More details on the difference between the two can be found at WordPress.com and WordPress.org.
