Being a paying customer don't I deserve a timely answer to my question?

    I was asked to clarify my previous question. I did that. I have not gotten a reply regarding my clarification. I have paid $99.00 to upgrade and to own a domain name here. I would expect a better response to my inquiry about changing my domain name.

    Hi @nelllander,

    We do indeed attempt to answer your questions as quickly as possible, however in order to keep continuity, we also assign tickets to a single representative, so any subsequent responses will come from that person. The representative who answered you previously had left for the day before your response came in, hence the delay.

    In response to your inquiry, because of the way that domain names work, they cannot be changed once they are purchased. They can only be canceled and a new one registered in their place. You can choose to do so in this case, but domains also can only be given a refund within their first 5 days of life, so you would not be given your original credit back and would have to pay full price for a new one ($18 for a .com, .net, or .org and $25 for a .me).

    If you’d like for your domain to be canceled, let me know! I can take care of that for you.

    If I cancel my domain, will I lose my Value Bundle that I purchased on March 9, 2013 or can I cancel my old domain, replace it with a new domain by paying the $18.00 and keep my Bundle in tact to use with my new domain? I apologize for seeming crabby with my question yesterday but talking through emails rather than on the phone can be frustrating.

    I totally understand! No worries about that at all.

    You will not lose your Value Bundle at all, and even if something should go sideways and it should happen to get cancelled, just let me know and I can take care of it and get it back into your account for you.

    So yes, we can get rid of the domain, keep your Value Bundle, and you can get your new domain in to your account!
