Being billed by private company for domain name

  I just got a bill from Website Listing Service, 1623 Military Road #926, Niagara Falls, NY 14304-1745 for $85.00 for an annual listing fee for my domain name “cantstayoutofthekitchen.com”. Is this legitimate? Or some kind of fake charge? I thought when I purchased my domain name and upgrade through WordPress that was all I had to do.

  Is this another service I must subscribe to?

  It’s a scam – they carpet bomb domains to find a sucker – don’t send them money – just a high priced scam for renewal – your contact info was not private so that is how they found your name – you domain looks good into June 2013
