Being billed for domain despite paying for premium upgrade

    I paid today for my third premium upgrade, this time on http://merciasmusings.wordpress.com. The upgrade has gone through and appeared in the Billing section, but I have tried several times to register the domain name and everything works until the payment page which is not showing that I already have a domain name credit as part of the $99 package. The system wants my credit card details to take another $26 from me.

  • Hi Marcia – It shows the cost, but it doesn’t actually bill you. Can you please go ahead and complete the registration, and then let me know? If you do somehow get billed, I’ll refund you ASAP.

    I received a separate email informing me that there was a glitch in the system. When the $99 upgrade is purchased there is supposed to be an on-screen notification on the domain page that my package came with a free domain and an invitation to click to apply and the payment page should never occur. This has all worked properly since receiving this email about the glitch, but did not happen at the time. The domain is now fully set up, thank you.
