Being charged for two domains on one site??

  I changed my web address by purchasing a new domain and setting that one as the primary. Now Im getting alerts that if I dont renew the old one (livewellpetoskey.com) the new one (livewellacumassage.com) will also be cancelled. Why do I have to pay for two domains for one site when all I wanted to do was change it?

  You do not HAVE to pay for two. Some people like to have multiple domains pointing to their site. And it isn’t that the new one will be canceled, it’s just that having an expired domain on your site can muck things up. If you are seeing a notice that you will have your new domain canceled if you do not renew your old one, please let me know. It may be that we need to reword the notification.

  Just to clarify, if you want to cancel your domain livewellpetoskey.com it can take up to several weeks for our domain registrar to release the domain, and it may not choose to do so. We can’t guarantee that your domain will ever be available to you again once canceled. If you have any intention of using livewellpetoskey.com again in the future, I suggest that you do not choose to cancel.
