Being displayed as author of posts I didn't publish?

The original author of the blog has left WordPress and transferred the blog to me. Now all her posts say that I’m the author of them? Is there a way I can change this?

Yes, when someone transfers ownership of a blog, the recipient is automatically assigned as the author of the previous owner’s posts. What you can do is add the previous owner back to your blog and reassign him as the author of his posts.

To assign him as an author of a post, go to your Posts screen:
https://misfitdistrict.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php
Hover on the post title and click on “Quick Edit”. Beside “Author” choose the new author’s username and click on the blue “Update” button to save changes.
