Being “gaslit” by a WordPress Blogger

    Hi,

    I’m an award-winning journalist and often post my articles to my page.

    I recently shared an article I wrote about a Harriet Tubman statue revealing event that I attended in person.

    Another blogger took my content and shared it as if it were her own. When I confronted her she tried to gas light me and flipped it to be all about her. She made it sound like I was trolling her blog, whereas she was actually trolling mine and taking my context and sharing with others as if it were her own.

    I was never on her blog before and only commented to tell her I thought she was out of line by what she did. Of course when I called her on it, she was trying to make it sound like I was in the wrong, as that is what narcissists do.

    It seems she’s very unsuccessful, has a Go Fund Me page, and is targeting me to make me look bad.

    I’ve made it so all comments have to be “approved” so she can’t come on my page anymore.

    It’s a shame that I can no longer feel “safe” on WordPress after being here over 10 years.

    This is the first time I had a real problem.

    I wish I could block her, but I can’t. You don’t allow that.
