being logged out

  It’s now been roughly 36 hours since this began again for me; and although I know WordPress tells me that everyone has to put up with this every now and then, it’s the third time in less than two months, and I reckon that being continuously forced to log in over 36 hours is a total pain in the (_|_).
  PLEASE! – why does this keep happening to me?!
  And why does it go on for so long?

  Do you log into WordPress.com from multiple computers or devices? I notice that when I log in from a mobile device sometimes the next time I go to my laptop I’m asked to log in again.

  At any rate, from time to time your cookies will expire and you will be asked to log in again, so it’s a good idea to keep your login credentials handy.

  No, Jackie: I’m an oldie who doesn’t like all that handheld technology. In truth, I have no need of it because I’m nearly always HERE.
  Your reply re ‘from time to time’ is the standard response I keep getting: my question re the current more than 36-hour stint still hasn’t been answered.
