Being stalked on Word Press

I don’t know what to do. I have several Word Press blogs. In the last few months I have received four ‘so and so liked your post and you should see what they’re up to.’ responses. When I check their word press blog, it is always the same: no gravatar. No information whatsoever in the ‘about’. The blog theme is a standard one without changes. There is NO written content. There are pictures lifted from the Web and that’s it. The third one I received was named ‘CookingwithEvan’. It had several pictures of recipes. I made the mistake of clicking on one. That click took me to someone ELSE’s blog, and instead of a recipe…there were none…a code was deposited on my computer that sent my email password to the underworld, where it was sold to someone, who has subsequently tried to change my email password, tried (almost successfully) to change my SNAIL mail address, and has infected my computer with four viruses. That computer is in the shop right now, getting a thorough decontamination, but I received another ’empty’ blog today, from someone who’s blog is titled
BenMcBridal. Again, it has no content, just pictures of food. I know better, now, than to click on it.
I remove the follower only to have yet another phony blog appear.
How do I stop these thugs? this isn’t just trolling, it’s criminal.
Today I got a fourth one. What do I do?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Have you run any software to clean your computer out?

Run a security scan on your computer. See here to run a security scan http://geekflare.com/online-scan-website-security-vulnerabilities/

I will type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up. Thank you for your response. I run Malwarebytes and Avast virus checks at least weekly, and, as I noted, the infected computer is currently being steam cleaned (not really) to rid it of the viruses. Still, I keep getting these bums. I am gunshy, now…anyone who responds to my sites raises fears that I’m being plagued by someone worse than a spammer. I currently have my settings at “Anyone can comment” but do you think that I change that? I’m not very savvy at computer stuff, sad to say.

    Hi there,

If you would like to report content on a WordPress.com site, you can do by clicking the three dots to the right of the “Follow” link in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Alternatively you can use our online form:

    http://en.wordpress.com/abuse/

In case you need it, there is more information about reporting a site, here:

Our Terms of Service Team are more than happy to look over your complaint and take appropriate action if deemed necessary.

a code was deposited on my computer that sent my email password to the underworld, where it was sold to someone

In order to keep your WordPress.com account secure please change your password as soon as you can — if you haven’t already done so.

    Change or Reset Your Password

I currently have my settings at “Anyone can comment” but do you think that I change that?

It’s possible, yes. On your Discussion settings page, there is an option to enable manual comment approval. Check ‘Comment must be manually approved’ in the Before a comment appears section.

    https://wordpress.com/settings/discussion/

Using comment moderation it is also possible to set up a comment blacklist which can include usernames, email address and keywords:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/#comment-blacklist

    I hope this helps.
