Best format for header image

  Hi

  I have a header image which is a logo created in Photoshop using just font in 2 different colours. From your experience, what is the best format to be used for to the header?

  I have tried Jpg and Gif. They pretty much look the same. Are they the best format?

  Sorry that my blog is not live yet as there is a bug problem with the Theme I have chosen to use. I am waiting for everything to be sorted out before I make it public.

  If it has text, PNG is the best.
