Best Free E-book Themes

  Hi Guys,

  I know there are a zillion WordPress themes out there, so I’ll just define what I want on the page and ask for your suggestions.

  Requirements:

  • A wordpress.com not a wordpress.org site
  • Free themes
  • Static, not a blog page
  • Very simple graphics with a header and image banner
  • Adjustable typography

  1. The reader finds my page with my name and some brief background info.
  2. Listed down the page are titles of works organized by category (essays, fiction, etc.).
  3. Each entry can be clicked to either:

  • read the page online, opened as .html in a separate window
  • or as a free download in either .pdf or .epub format.

  4. An e-mail link for readers to submit comments and queries which will not be displayed online.

  5. Links to my other websites.

  I’ve done this setup already with a couple of themes but I’m now looking for alternatives. I simply want to make my work available for free and it’s important that the books can be read online or downloaded.

  I’d really appreciate any suggestions. I’ve done the research through various online resources but would like to know what actually works for people. Thanks!
