Best options to create a paid membership site?

  Hi all,

  I’ve been a developer for a long time but am new to WP.

  I want to add the ability to pay for online membership (have access to member only pages) on an existing WP site.

  I can’t really find any good info on how to do this by searching so was wondering if anyone knew a good way to go about this.

  Paid member areas aren’t an option for WordPress.com hosted blogs. If you’re self-hosting you’ll have better luck asking your question over at https://wordpress.org/support/
